Chelsea is an Associate at Cairns Family Law Group. She is a Cairns local, having completed her degree at James Cook University.

Chelsea has solely devoted her career to working in family law. She has experience in all aspects of family law, including complex parenting disputes, large asset pool property settlements, domestic and family violence matters, high-conflict separation and divorce.

Chelsea has extensive experience representing clients in mediations. Where parties are unable to reach an agreement, Chelsea also represents clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

In 2025, Chelsea expanded her skillset by serving as an Associate to a Senior Judicial Registrar of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. This role provided her with invaluable behind-the-scenes insight into the Court’s internal processes, judicial expectations, and preparation required for court events. Chelsea brings this knowledge into practice, giving her clients a clearer understanding of what to expect and how to best strengthen their case from the outset.

Chelsea prides herself in providing her clients with practical and cost-effective outcomes in their family law matter. She understands the complex nature of family law matters and brings a calm, strategic approach. Being a mother to two young children, Chelsea understands the day-to-day realities families face and is able to provide nuanced, practical advice to her clients.
