Mai is a lawyer at Cairns Family Law Group who is passionate about helping clients feel supported and understood during what can often be a difficult time.

She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Law and Business, giving her a well-rounded perspective when working through both the legal and practical aspects of family law matters.

Before joining the team, Mai worked as a Judge’s Associate at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, where she gained valuable insight into the court process and decision-making. She has also worked as a Paralegal in a personal injury firm, building strong foundational skills in client care and case preparation.

Mai can speak Japanese and enjoys assisting Japanese-speaking clients, helping them feel more comfortable and confident throughout their legal journey.

Known for her approachable and down-to-earth style, Mai focuses on clear communication and practical solutions, working closely with her clients to achieve outcomes that are right for them.
