Amalie is a Director at Cairns Family Law Group. Amalie has over 13 years of experience working solely in family law. Amalie commenced her law career in Cairns, before relocating to Brisbane. In Brisbane, Amalie practiced family law in one of the city’s largest and most reputable family law firms. Amalie returned to Cairns bringing with her a wealth of experience especially in relation to complex property and parenting matters.

Amalie is a North Queensland local. She was brought up in a family of small business owners. She has the lay of the land in our Cairns and Innisfail region and insight for the need for practical and cost-effective resolutions for her clients and their families.
Amalie has devoted her career to family law. Her focus is to obtain practical and commercial outcomes for her clients by resolving issues without going to the Court. When required, Amalie provides strong and strategic representation for her clients in Court. She has extensive experience in appearing before the Family Law Court.
